Jesse and Spencer are the perfect couple, handsome, funny, a little geeky and leftfield, they’re the best of friends and it’s plain to see that they are utterly in love. Except they’re the best of friends.
Unable to see the painfully obvious, more so given the recent perfect night spent together, and suddenly paniced about ending up on the shelf at the grand old age of 31, Jesse is out on a dating mission. There soon follows a series of disastrous dates that end up with Jesse being mugged and wandering haplessly around St James Park – it therefore takes him completely by surprise when he finds himself suddenly knocked a little sideways by a chance meeting with a photographer named Leah.
A comedy of errors ensues with Jesse torn between best friend Spencer, currently a little side tracked preparing for the European T.M.E. championships, and his new, sexy girlfriend... Meanwhile friends and family rally round in support and confusion… after all Jesse’s supposed to be gay. But things never run smoothly and Jesse manages to royally piss everyone off, and leaves his brother, who runs a funeral photography business with Leah, utterly mortified when he walks in on them making out
The mother of all fall outs soon follows...
But Jesse soon back tracks, and realises what he wants, but not before a quick fall down a bunch of stairs courtesy of Spencer’s new marbles…
But love and family prevail, Jesse works out which side of the fence he really is on, Spencer just misses a win at T.M.E and there’s a few happy snogs thrown in for good measure…
